Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John
by Dr SriFollow Me: Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John is a Bible study program by Dr. Edward Sri that guides you to a personal friendship with Christ through the Gospel of John.
The program teaches that following Jesus means more than just knowing facts or following rules. It is about a close, personal friendship with God.
In Follow Me, Dr Sri explains 'divine friendship' as a "shift from seeing God as a distant ruler to knowing Him as an intimate companion." This concept draws heavily from Thomas Aquinas and the Gospel of John, where Jesus tells His disciples, " I no longer call you servants...I have call you friends" (John15:15).- The Good Shepherd: Jesus seeks you out and calls you to follow Him.
- True Discipleship: You learn to trust Jesus, accept His mercy and love others the way He loves you.
- Deepest Desires: Only God can truly satisfy the longings of your heart.
